Thousands of short films and hundreds of thousands of short stories are created every year. Short works take a lot of time and (in the case of film) money to produce, with limited prospects of earning a return on investment.
Unlike most platforms, which rely on creators bringing in their existing audiences, we bring new audiences to creators and pay them whenever their work is included. At least half of every sale goes to the creators, so even if the platform loses money they are guaranteed to get paid.
